HERE I AM

Okay, I thought it was time that all you cyber friends know what I look like. This is me with my son, Paul. I was over at Kat's blog and she thought I was a strawberry blonde. Nope. Not blonde, not even once in my life. I might save that for my mid-life crisis. I have no make-up on, so my eyees look a little ghost-like, but hey, at least my under-eye circles aren't showing. I must have slept well last night.

This morning I had to have my oldest son at band practice by 6:45am. I thought I'd give the other kids a treat, so I stopped by the donut shop before going back home. The donut shop is right across the street from the high school football field where the kids practice band. As I leaned over in my seat to reach for my cash in the ashtray, I heard what I thought was my heartbeat going crazy in my ears. I thought maybe this was a sign that I DIDN'T need to be buying donuts! ha. Anyway, I sat up, shook my head, touched my chest over my heart, and THEN realized that the drummers had begun their practice and I was hearing the drum line. Whew, I was so relieved.

Gorgeous eyes! You're a pretty woman, Lisa. As soon as I saw you I saw your kids faces all rolled into one!

You bear an amazing resemblence to my wife, except she straightens her hair a bit more.

That is a compliment, by the way!

Nice to put a face with a blogger.

Lisa, have you ever said how old you are? You look really young.

Well, Cath, you've now become my new best friend! ha. Anyone who says I'm young has to be a good friend. I am 34. I'll be 35 on Oct. 4th. Thanks for the compliments, guys and gals. John, sometimes I straighten my hair more---it ususally just depends on how much time I have.

Lisa:

I used to have a family picture posted on my blog...I removed it for personal/privacy reasons. You never know who is trolling by...I have become a bit more careful on all of that.

I think that if you look in my archives there is probably a picture somewhere.

No, not at all, Jennifer. Actually, I thought I'd made you mad when I mentioned how light skinned you looked in your picture on your blog, since I hadn't heard from you for a while. I'm glad you stopped by and I've enjoyed your comments.

Lisa,
Even though those photos of you are beautiful, they DON'T do you justice--you are much more beautiful in person!

And about the rapid heartbeat that ended up not being a heartbeat, I can empathize with that...you know what I am talking about!

When I heard my heartbeat going crazy in my ears it wasn't drums, but usually meant I was pregnant! LOL

As much as I love children, and you know I do, I can truly say, "Thank you, Lord, that it was only drums!!!"
