I'm Home

First of all, look at the date on this picture. My camera keeps changing it automatically, which is really strange. Actually, this must be happening when the battery runs down. So much for having a camera with the date on it----it never is correct.

We had a great time at the swim competition. This was a meet where my daughter was able to set her times on the events. Now she'll have some numbers that will help her work towards qualifying times. She came in first in her heat in the breaststroke. This is her favorite stroke. Coming in first in her heat means nothing more than she received a small prize for doing so. We'll have to wait a week or so to see how she placed all-in-all, as there were several heats per event, with MANY swimmers. She did very well yesterday and her coach was pleased. Of course, I was proud and beaming. That's what parents do!!

It was a long day. Five hours of swim competition, two hours at the mall, then two hours of driving time to get home. This does not include the nice long lunch that we took at Souper Salad. I puffy heart Souper Salad!!!! Is anyone here familiar with this restaurant? If not, treat yourself and go. 'Tis good!!
