I'M BAAAACK................

So, you'll see below that I've been so consumed in life things the past week that I've not had an ounce of computer time. I still don't have the time, as the house has been left unattended, but today is catch-up day, in all areas, including my blogging and cyberspace friends. I'm going to get the house done so this evening I can visit all of you "over at your place."

On top of everything else this week, I was 14 days late for my period. So, two pregnancy tests later and a visit from Aunt Margaret herself confirmed that, no, there is not another little bundle on the way. I had feelings both ways---anxiety that "Oh My Gosh", I might actually be PG again, and happiness that "Oh Those Little Baby Feet In The House Again" would be nice. What happened, I finally figured out, was that I messed up my progesterone medication and had a late ovulation.

I've not kept up on my weight loss box below. I've still been exercising, so I'll update that this evening, too. I don't think I'm down any weight as I've been stress eating lately, but the weight loss number hasn't increased, which is good.

I've missed you! I can't wait to visit you this evening.

Peace!

Winter Dance

It was Winter Formal time this past weekend. Philip, his friend, and their dates all went and had a great time. It was very nice to see them all dressed up. My checkbook is still in pain, but that's another story!

Pre AP Geometry

My oldest son, in yellow, and his friend, had to do a geometry project. This ended up being a great project, although the time commitment was unreal. They spent approximately 25 outside-of-school hours planning, rough drafting, and building this house.
The frame could be any material they chose, but the outside had to all be edible. They had a $15 limit on supplies. They then took their project and presented it to one of the grade schools. It was fun. Time consuming for the parents, too, as these kiddos can't drive, yet, so who got to take them to Wal-Mart and to the meetings???? The Mamas!

Wet and Wild

Last weekend was the annual Swim-A-Thon for our local swim team. The kids raised money for each lap that they were able to swim. It was a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Miracles Do Happen

Did you think I'd died? Well, not yet. I've been super busy, and today is no different, but I wanted to do a post just to say hello to everyone and let you know I'm alive.

This picture is of my grandfather and my uncle. This was taken in the cafeteria of St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita. My grandmother was life-flighted there last Thursday for complications with her lung condition. By the grace of God, she'll be going home tomorrow.
